Take a look at the hints below for guidance!

HINT 01

In the record of communications between Mick and Nell, Mick got some photos of Guy with an unknown woman, who gave him leather gloves akin to the ones used in Nell’s murder. Who is this woman?

HINT 02

In her outgoing message to Mick at 18:02, Nell says that she will have a search for the Executives at Severn & Young, MediLuck’s rival company. This leads us to the screenshot taken from Nell’s PC. The woman was Maryann Winters. Mick said that Maryann had handed Guy a coded note – turn your attention to that coded note now and see if you can crack the code!
Spoiler alert!!! Do not look at any more of these hints until you have completed the hints section for “Solving the coded note”.

HINT 03

The coded note translates to:

FRIDAY NIGHT, AFTER YOU’RE DONE, MEET ME AT THE GREEN LION, AS USUAL. TOGETHER WE CAN HIDE AWAY!

The detective chief inspector, in his internal memo, believes that the perpetrator could have fled to Victoria railway station, and security has sent footage of the murderer fleeing the scene. A season ticket log of season tickets used from Victoria station has been provided. How can we ascertain Guy’s movements from this season ticket log?

HINT 04

In his MyFacePlace profile, Guy alludes to the fact that he lives in Lewes “From Lewes to Auckland, happy new year to all of the New Zealand Hurleys”. We can use this information to narrow down which ticket “could” be Guy Hurley’s….but we need something more concrete. How else can we pair Guy with this ticket log?

HINT 05

A picture of Guy’s workstation drawer shows a season ticket with his season ticket number on display, an 11-digit code. Does this code appear on the season ticket log?

Answer

Guy’s ticket was used at 20:45:46 to enter the barriers at Victoria station (soon after the murder took place).
