    A photo of “two people in a café” has been shown to Jack. This is the photograph taken by Mick, showing Guy and the woman we identified as Maryann. Later on in the interview, Jack confirms that the couple in the photo were at the bar on Friday night and that the woman in the photo lives in Stirping. Turn your attention to the housing register for Stirping. Nobody with the surname “Winters” is listed on the register, so perhaps the owner is listed under a different name. We need to find another link.

    Turn your attention to Jack Harper’s Interview script, and pay attention to the name of Maryann’s husband. Unfortunately, the barman doesn’t know the name of Maryann’s husband but he does know his profession, maybe that’ll help you identify the correct house.

    Look at Nell’s web search for female executives at Severn and Young (Part One). What do you notice about Maryann Winter’s employment history, and where else have you seen that mobile number: 0763812242?

    Check out the contents of Guy’s workstation drawer (Part One). Maryann was formerly the operations manager at “White Winters Carpentry” – see the business card. The barman also mentioned the fact that her husband was a carpenter?!…so what is his second name likely to be?

    Answer

    Maryann wrote her mobile number on a business card which she gave to Guy, who then placed it in his workstation draw. We know it’s her mobile number because it pairs up with the information seen on the screenshot of her from Nell’s PC from Part One.

    The name of the company she was once a director at is “White Winters”. Since Winters is Maryann’s second name, “White” must be the second name of her husband (confirmed by the email address on the business card). That email address is “D.White@”…so we know his first name begins with a “D”

    As such, Maryann is married to a man called Dennis White (since this is the only D White that lives in Stirping). Dennis White lives at 5 Lark Ascent, BN28 4AE.
