Take a look at the hints below for guidance.

Hint 1

Davis had a gambling addiction and was borrowing heavily from Elvis Boone to fund his betting. Boone’s death would wipe away all of Davis’ debts before they were called in, and Davis had free access to the backstage area. Nobody claims to have seen Davis during the magic show. What was Davis doing at the time of the murder?

We’ll need two pieces of evidence to deduce Davis’ most likely location. Is there anything related to his motive: his gambling debts?

Check the lottery ticket. Is there anything on there that could give more information when used?

Go to the link on the lotto ticket and enter the ticket number.

The link goes to a page that tells us the ticket was redeemed at the exact time and date the murder happened! Where could this have happened?

Check the magazine interview with Pacifica Sharpe.

One of the ads on the newspaper clipping mentions daily lottery draws at “Teddy’s Bar and Grill” near Tanker Stadium. If the lottery ticket belongs to Davis, he may well have been at Teddy’s while the murder occurred so he could attend the lottery draw. We’ll need further evidence to confirm his alibi.
