Manor Hints: I’m not sure where to start

Rick Fitch, the lead detective working on this case, requires your help working out who killed Astrid!

Finding the killer won’t be easy. You’ll need to familiarise yourself with all of the evidence provided, including any online content that is mentioned. Internet access will be required to crack this case.

Having observed all of the evidence. It may be helpful to identify potential suspects and their motives, determine which suspect each piece of evidence belongs to, and attempt to find an alibi for as many of the suspects as possible.

Through the process of elimination, we’re confident that you’ll bring the culprit to justice.

It might help to draw out a table where the column headers are “Suspect”, “Motive”, “Evidence”, and “Alibi”.

Read through all of the evidence and make notes for each suspect: what their name is, what their motive might be, what evidence links to them, and what their alibi is.

When you’ve found a solid alibi for a suspect they’re no longer a suspect!… but BE CAREFUL with your Alibis…where possible, you’ll need to cross-reference all of the information given to ensure that each suspect’s alibi checks out and doesn’t conflict with any other piece of evidence!

Attempt to build a story of everyone’s location throughout the key timings mentioned within the case file. Building a timeline might help you identify who the killer might be. Be sure to look out for conflicting information. Good luck, and remember to use the hints page if you need help.
