Take a look at the hints below for guidance!
Clue 1
In Dr Harding’s interview (part 1) on 25th April, Dr Harding states that Beatrix was expelled from the university for plagiarising her dissertation. Trudy was her dissertation tutor, and raised concerns to the disciplinary panel.
There is someone in the social media feed (Part 1) called “Trix Leblanc”. She references “@trudyerhardt”, “Marine Biologist” and “#BrisU”, therefore we can assume that this is Beatrix Leblanc.
Clue 2
Take note of the other tweets. Compare the names from her tweets to another piece of evidence.
Clue 3
The Toad & Tambourine schedule (Part 2) contains the set times on the night of the murder. Take note of the band names and artists that are playing…how does Beatrix fit into this?
Clue 4
Trix Leblanc tweeted that she was scheduled to play at the toad and tambourine on the night the murder took place. Amy Jenkins confirmed that Trix Leblanc would be supporting her for the full hour…the toad and tambourine schedule shows that Amy would be playing between 7 and 8 pm. How can we verify that these claims were followed through with?
Answer (spoiler alert)
In the webmail, there is an email from the events team at the toad and tambourine confirming that all of the acts were present, along with supporting artists. As such, Beatrix Leblanc has a strong alibi.
