Clue 1

The words are English, but each letter has been replaced with another.

Clue 2

Try focusing on short words. Try to find any places where the words ‘I’ or ‘a’ are used, or any abbreviations.

Clue 3

In Ben’s note (found in the part 1 envelope), he refers to “that ABC = ECD” thing.

Clue 4

Each consonant becomes the next one along, and each vowel becomes the next one along. When Ben said A=E, he might have been talking about A as a coded letter and E as the translation….or perhaps A is the translation, and E is the coded letter!!! Try applying this rule to one or two of the shorter words to see if you can start to create or identify some words in English.
