Take a look at the hints below for guidance!
Clue 1
From The Brisbane Chronicler (Part One), there is an article on the topic of jellyfish preventing the development of Mr Drucker’s “Panorama Tower”. Trudy played a part in protecting these jellyfish. From this article we know that his company is called “Chancery & Drucker”. The police have a copy of their meeting minutes.
Clue 2
T Drucker excused himself from the meeting at 18:55 and returned at 19:45. The coroner believes that the murder took place around this time! Can you locate his whereabouts more precisely at this time?
Clue 3
You’ll need to log in to the police webmail and find a piece of evidence that will trace the whereabouts of staff at Chancery & Drucker on the night of the murder.
Clue 4
Read the email from Paul Lovell. He was only able to extract certain information for the report that he sent. These employee numbers aren’t very useful unless you can uncover Thomas Drucker’s date of birth. Look for other evidence to establish his date of birth.
Clue 5
Read the firearms registration document. It belongs to Thomas Drucker. His Date of Birth is stated as 28/02/1969. Apply this to the information that Paul Lovell gave you!
Answer (spoiler alert)
Although the Meeting Minutes show that Thomas Drucker left the meeting at 18:55 and returned at 19:45, the company log shows that he never left the Sky Point building during this window of time. Thomas Drucker’s date of birth is 28/02/1969. The only keycard number ending in 280269 (DD/MM/YY) is that of Thomas Drucker. Therefore his employee number is 1001280269. The log shows that he entered at 18:26 and didn’t ever leave the building until 20:55, well outside the window of 19:00 to 20:00 given by the coroner. So he has an alibi.
