Miami Hints: Miranda Wyatt

Who is Miranda Wyatt, and why would she want to bring harm to Craig Flint? Familiarize yourself with Luzzi’s statement, Sam Reed’s Police report, and an article in The Miami Chronicle from Friday, March 22^nd, 1985.

Miranda mentions that  ‘I want him dead’ (Miami Chronicle article) after Flint had been caught up in an affair with his make-up artist, Maria Sanchez. Other evidence points towards Craig being controlling and that Miranda had moved out of Craig’s Apartment. There is a ‘revenge’ motive, but can you trace Miranda’s whereabouts on the night of the murder? Look at the call sheet sent in the National Expeditious envelope.

The call sheet states that Miranda Wyatt was on set at 8.30 pm. The producer states in his letter (also within the envelope) that they wrapped things up at 11.30 pm, a couple of hours before Craig died. What is suspicious about the scenes they are shooting? 

The call sheet states they are shooting the MIAMI BEACH SCENES (271-281). Can we determine if this is being filmed in Miami itself? Take a look at the SHOOT LOCATION.

The shoot location is being held at ‘Firtree Studio’. Are you able to locate where the studio is? Look for another piece of evidence that will reveal it’s location. See the Entertainment Insider Monthly – June 1984.

The location of Firtree Studios is revealed in the article – C.R.M. Studios Finds a New Owner. “C.R.M.’s biggest asset besides its back catalog is its California-based Firtree Studio…” Miranda was filming Miami Beach Scenes at the California-based studio. The producer confirms they wrapped things up 11.30 pm. It is not possible for Miranda to have left the studio, traveled to Miami, and killed Craig by the time he was murdered (according to the coroner’s report).
